I had to move to my grandma's due to a fire. :-(
I'm still living here...
My birthday was weird. Hanging around in this dinky apartment even more so. I had to sleep in the living room on a bed cot for three months!
Then, christmas came. I'd gotten mostly used to the apartment by then and had a DSL connection, so it went pretty well. I received a lot of neat gifts, including a Sony Ericsson K500i. |

Jun 12 00:23:40 As the two new guests enter almost simultaneously, there is a dull look from an old man in the lobby. That's all the reaction, apparently.

Jun 12 00:24:26 Alex Imedietly check out the emergency exits
Jun 12 00:25:05 There is one emergency exit, from the lobby at least. Rather useless, considering that there are already two exits.
Jun 12 00:25:26 * Adok asks Alex why he's checking out the emergency exits
Jun 12 00:25:31 The lobby is rather nice though; mostly marble, and with a soft carpet which gets slightly wet as they both enter directly from the rain.

Jun 12 00:37:01 As both leave for their rooms on the 3rd floor, they discover that both are in the same corridor as well and not too far apart; thus, they walk together in silence to each of their rooms.

Jun 12 00:37:33 The rooms are fairly simple, with a bed, a small balcony, a television and a ridiculously large bathroom.

Jun 12 00:42:37 The water seems to be troubling slightly. It sputters.
Jun 12 00:43:13 Adok walks out on the small parking space and watches West Brompton Street, seeing a small food store and a clothes shop on the opposide side of the street.

Jun 12 00:43:14 * Alexaander while he waits he goes through the bathroom
Jun 12 00:43:43 The bathroom is rather extravagant, with much whiteness and little hermetical packages of shampoo, soap, etc.

Jun 12 00:44:14 There's a bath tub and a shower, and pretty much anything you'd want in a bathroom. In fact, it's nearly more luxurious than the room itself.

Jun 12 00:44:53 Adok sees very few passer-bys, seeing as it's still raining... but there are many cars, and one of them takes a turn to drive in at the parking lot. It's a black taxi.

Jun 12 00:45:35 It's a typical London taxi, on which now one of the doors open.

Jun 12 00:46:13 A tall gentleman steps out. He appears to be chinese or somesuch; he's very pale and very tall.

Jun 12 00:46:39 The chinese man looks back at Adok and then walks inside, hurriedly.
Jun 12 00:46:50 Meanwile, Alexander takes a bath.

Jun 12 00:47:18 The water feels a little strange; sort of sterile.
Jun 12 00:47:38 The chinese man walks up to the counter, ringing the bell several times - he appears annoyed.

Jun 12 00:48:33 The indian woman comes out and he says lowly "Chemist. Wu Shagang. Room 402, if I remember correctly." with perfect Oxford english.
Jun 12 00:48:57 He gives a faint smile as he gets his key and says "Thank you", still with a very low voice. Then, he walks to the elevator.
Jun 12 00:49:15 He looks back at Adok once, though.
Jun 12 00:49:39 * Adok fixes his stare on the chinese man's eyes.
Jun 12 00:50:14 They look back, briefly. The eyes are yellow, and very piercing - their gazes are equally cold and fixed.
Jun 12 00:50:21 Then, he steps into the elevator, and the doors close.

Jun 12 00:51:38 The room hasn't changed at all, and as he returns, he hears footsteps outside.

Jun 12 01:05:25 They appear to have been taken out of the beginning of the 20th century, much in the same style as the chinese gentleman who is also there.

Jun 12 01:05:47 There are several chinese-looking people around, indeed.
Jun 12 01:06:07 The tall gentleman from yesterday sits along with a much shorter, slightly sagging chinese guy.

Jun 12 01:06:51 * Alexaander looks around to see if there is any available table somewhere where he can sit down and eat his breakfast

Jun 12 01:07:27 The shorter chinese wears a vest and a white shirt, and seems to peer around a little suspiciously.

Jun 12 01:08:51 The buffet table has a lot of different foods, including the famous english breakfast but also continental things, like croissants.

Jun 12 01:09:47 * Adok walks over and fills his plate with eggs and sausages.
